Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot’s Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer turns into a terrifying search for a murderer when a picture-perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. A wealthy socialite engaged to a handsome, unemployed bachelor (who previously was passionately entwined with her best friend from school) hosts a lavish wedding party aboard the Karnak as it sails down the Nile, which is attended by a group of exotic and amazing people who claim to be their friends. As a result of the karma generated when one person steals another person’s love, fireworks ensue. Set against an epic landscape of sweeping desert vistas and the majestic Giza pyramids, this tale of unbridled passion and incapacitating jealousy features a cosmopolitan group of impeccably dressed travelers and enough wicked twists and turns to keep audiences guessing until the final, shocking denouement.
