Two Fathers

Zhen-hua and Xiang-xi rush to the hospital, but Wen-wen has left after giving birth to Wendy and leaving a letter. They decide to start a family.

Jing-zhu doesn't know Wendy has two fathers. Xiang- xi takes Wendy to school and observes Jing-zhu as she teaches, but his cell phone suddenly rings.

Yong-jie finds the house thoroughly cleaned but she is unused to it. Jing-zhu crashes into someone's car, and Xiang-xi gets her out of trouble.

Wendy, Xiao-wei, and Zheng-xiong skip school to see a cat. Xiang-xi reluctantly agrees to let Wendy keep the cat and bribes Wendy to keep the secret.

Xiang-xi has a huge fight over Wendy's education and angers Jing-zhu. Jing-zhu conducts a family visit and witnesses a shocking scene.

Hearing that her mom is saving up for her dowry, Jing-zhu is greatly touched. Mr. Fang doesn't want his wife to work as a maid; she promises not to.

A mystery man takes Wendy to Yong-jie's house. Zhen-hua recognizes him as Xi-xiang's dad, but finds out that he doesn't want Xi-xiang to see him.

Zhen-hua bribes Wendy but is caught in the act by Jing-zhu. Zhen-hua plants cacti for Yong-jie and takes care of her as though she is Wendy.

Ying-fan accompanies Xiang-xi to take Jing-zhu home but Mrs. Fang, shocked, mistakes them as a couple and tells Jing-zhu to stay away from Xiang-xi.

Mr. Fang is appalled by Wendy's family. Wendy enters a drawing contest but doesn't have a red crayon, so Jing-zhu offers Wendy her lipstick.

Ying-fan sees Xiang-xi's love for Jing-zhu and fears he'll be taken away, thus she confesses her love. Mr. Fang wants Jing-zhu to hold onto Zhen-hua.

Ying-fan's love confession is rejected. Distraught, she got into a car crash. Immersed in sorrow, she ends up pulling a hit-and-run from the scene.

Xiang-xi unexpectedly runs into his father. Zhen-hua asks Mr. Tang to their home but Xiang-xi drives him away. Xiang-xi tells Zhen-hua his life story.

Jing-zhu explains Mr. Tang's story and Xiang-xi argues with her. Fei-zhu puts on a gentleman act and surprises his family.

Mr. Fang, desperate to marry Jing-zhu off, arranges a blind date for her. However, Jing-zhu scares the man off while Mr. Fang is away.

Xiang-xi strikes a major deal and gloats, only to find out through the client that his father had arranged the deal for him.

Xiang-xi holds a grudge against Zhen-hua for reproaching him and skips lunch. Zhen-hua wants Wendy to ignore Xiang-xi. Mr. Tang visits Zhen-hua.

Xiang-xi and Wendy help Mrs. Chen out but she refuses to reveal what was going on. Xiang-xi decides to give Mrs. Chen personal protection.

Fei-zhu asks Xiang-xi to return to work. Mrs. Chen wants to sell her house and move to a home. Zhen- hua takes Wendy to a hospital and meets Mr. Tang.

Mrs. Chen comes to say goodbye. The family is reluctant to see her go. Wendy makes up a fairy tale that reminds Yong-jie of her past sorrows.

Wendy is sleepless because her family is too small. Xiang-xi realizes Fei-zhu is in love with Ying-fan. Zhen-hua realizes Xiang-xi has met his father.

Wendy tells Zheng-xiong a piece of bad news and asks Xiang-xi to do something embarrassing. Zheng-xiong's mother shows off his talents.

Zheng-xiong's mother forces him to take a talent exam. The two fathers agree not to force Wendy in taking talent classes. Wendy sees Qing-zhu vomit.

Zheng-xiong is unable to concentrate in class, so Jing-zhu asks his mom to come to school. Zhen-hua invites Yong-jie for dinner to repay her kindness.

Zhen-hua's gift of candies gives Jing-zhu hope and courage. Wendy's birthday wish saddens Xiang-xi. Wendy and Zheng-xiong go missing.

Wendy apologizes for running away. Xiang-xi and Zhen-hua ask Wendy to give an invitation to Jing-zhu. Zheng-xiong's card, however, says, "Don't come".

Xiang-xi doesn't know how to break the ice with his father. Zhen-hua tells Mr. Tang and says that time will heal. Wendy gives Zhen-hua a carnation.

Wendy gives carnations to both of her fathers. Seeing that Ying-fan is being bullied by gangsters, Fei-zhu drags her off but gets injured himself.

Ying-fan visits Fei-zhu at the Fang's, only to see him barely dressed. Mr. Fang finds out that Fei-zhu is in love with Ying-fan.

Ni-ou delivers a love note from Fei-zhu to Ying-fan and falls in love with Xiao-pei. Zhen-hua says Xiang-xi ruined his clothes and avoids the truth.

Wendy hides inside her blankets to play on her cell phone, which infuriates Zhen-hua. Ying-fan tells Fei-zhu that they have no future together.

Zhen-hua is inspired by the bamboos brought by Yong-jie. Xiang-xi suspects that Zhen-hua is in love with Yong-jie, who is unable to find him anywhere.

Yong-jie takes care of Zhen-hua who has fallen ill. Ying-fan has a flat tire and calls Xiang-xi for help, but someone else shows up.

Zhen-hua has to compete abroad and Xiang-xi encourages him to pursue his dreams. Mr. Fang instructs Fei-zhu to place a wrench in Ying-fan's car.

Wendy misses Zhen-hua very much. Xiang-xi and Jing-zhu run into each other and their lips touch.

Xiang-xi discovers that Zhen-hua has set out everything he would need. Xiang-xi picks Wendy up after school and sees Yong-jie looking for Zhen-hua.

Wendy, Xiao-wei, and Zheng-xiong give money and food to Qing-zhu who is playing drums on the street. Xiang-xi picks Wendy up and challenges Jing-zhu.

Qing-zhu wants to succeed before he goes home but undergoes misfortunes. Zheng-xiong gives the money he has taken from his mom's purse to Qing-zhu.

Wendy and the others help search for Qing-zhu's drum set. The drums are discovered at Yong-jie's place, but Yong-jie is baffled.

Wendy asks Xiang-xi why he doesn't live with Grandpa. Wendy discovers that Yong-jie paints Zhen-hua in every picture. Xiang-xi thinks they're in love.

Xiang-xi and his father spend time together. Mr. Tang tells stories of Xiang-xi's childhood and makes them a meal. Xiang-xi is incredibly touched.

Xiang-xi avoids talking about his relationship with his father. Mr. Fang wants Qing-zhu to go back to the US to study and beats him after he refuses.

Xiang-xi allows Yong-jie to come by anytime. The doorbell rings late at night during his sleep. Mr. Fang decides to enforce military style education.

Mr. Fang harshly demands Qing-zhu to return to the US. Qing-zhu convinces Jing-zhu to support him. Zhen-hua asks Xiang-xi not to disclose his flight.

Zhen-hua returns triumphant and talks with Xiang-xi over drinks. Mei-nu comes to the flower shop and pesters Zhen-hua who asks for Yong-jie's help.

Xiang-xi takes Jing-zhu to a boxing class to vent his anger. Jing-zhu feels sorry for him. Xiang-xi calls to inquire about Jing-zhu who feels baffled.

Xiang-xi is pleased to see that Qing-zhu has a mind of his own and treats him like a brother. Xiang-xi takes Jing-zhu to Qing-zhu's show.

Mei-nu questions Yong-jie's ability to take care of Zhen-hua and his daughter. Jing-zhu proposes a English-speaking campaign for the family.

The school informs Qing-zhu he needs to return by the end of the month or be expelled. Mr. Fang is anxious, and Xiang-xi advises Mr. Fang to relent.

Qing-zhu decides to return to the US to study. Before he leaves, Mr. Fang intercepts him and takes away his passport.

Mr. Tang sighs over life's disappointments. Zhen-hua wants to probe for more, but Mr. Fang falls silent. Zheng-xiong's father shows up with a gift.

Xiang-xi wants to help Zheng-xiong move. Fei-zhu carefully checks Ying-fan’s car. Mr. Fang tells Fei-zhu to hurry up and give him grandchildren.

Fei-zhu asks Jing-zhu to help with his English; Jing-zhu forces him to retrieve her car. Yong-jie bakes cookies and invites Wendy to stay the night.

Xiang-xi takes care of his father till dawn before going home. He still doesn't know what's on his father's mind and asks for Jing-zhu's advice.

Mr. Tang gives some thought and writes down what he has wanted to do all his life. Xiang-xi is shocked but becomes determined to fulfill the wishes.

Mr. Fang loans Fei-zhu the suit he wore when he was dating his wife. Fei-zhu goes to Xiang-xi's reunion. Xiang-xi and Jing-zhu make fun of each other.

Xiang-xi finds Jing-zhu's criteria for an ideal spouse and laughs. Ying-fan discovers that Xiang-xi has asked female classmates to come for repairs.

Ying-fan arranges a blind date for Jing-zhu; Xiang-xi wants to know with whom. Ying-fan sees Fei-zhu's classmate seducing him and drives her away.

Xiang-xi picks Zheng-xiong up. Jing-zhu and Zi-qiang are also out for fun. Jing-zhu is bored, but Zi-qiang is overjoyed. The two parties finally meet.

Ying-fan discovers that Zi-qiang plans to take advantage of Jing-zhu. Fei-zhu comforts Jing-zhu. Mr. Fang asks Xiang-xi to look after Jing-zhu.

Xiang-xi's optimism gives Mr. Tang hope. Mr. Fang takes the kids to Mrs. Fang's birthday party. Jing-zhu panics with Xiang-xi's sudden kiss.

Mr. and Mrs. Fang treat Yong-jie like a daughter-in-law. Xiang-xi's kiss unnerves Jing-zhu. Wen-wen wants to take Wendy away by force.

Xiang-xi refuses to let Wendy go with Wen-wen, yet he and Zhen-hua worry that they might lose Wendy. The two read Wendy's diary.

Xiang-xi disapproves of Wendy and Wen-wen's time alone together. Ying-fan wants Fei-zhu to express his love, but he only says, "I'll wait for you".

The failed proposal upsets Fei-zhu. Wendy is upset because she can't be close with her mom. Fei-zhu gets a call from Ying-fan but drops his phone.

Wendy runs into her room after seeing Wen-wen. Wendy is soaked in the rain and has a fever. Wen-wen takes care of her and restores their relationship.

Xiang-xi and Jing-zhu ask about the love confession. The two fathers ask Mr. Tang to take care of Wendy. Ying-fan knows why Fei-zhu is missing.

Wendy and Wen-wen live together for three days. Wendy misses both of her fathers. Zheng-xiong and his mother ask Wen-wen to state her real agenda.

Yong-jie summons the courage to confess her love to Zhen-hua. Wendy bonds with Wen-wen and asks her to model for a drawing.

Wendy is upset that Wen-wen is returning to the US. Xiang-xi confesses to Jing-zhu. Fei-zhu reluctantly comes to the Household Registration Office.

Ying-fan and Fei-zhu are finally husband and wife. Jing-zhu reveals her love for Xiang-xi. The results of the physical exam devastate Yong-jie.

Mr. Fang formally hands Jing-zhu to Xiang-xi and tells her to be a loving wife. Later on, Jing-zhu shows her true colors.

Xiang-xi promises his father he will marry Jing-zhu. The Fangs also want Jing-zhu to marry as soon as possible. Xiang-xi's proposal is accepted.
